The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Rea PDO Colline Salernitane produced by Torretta is a medium fruity extra virgin olive oil which takes its name from Rea, mother of Zeus and wife of Cronus, the king of the Titans. It is a blend of Rotondella, Carpellese and Frantoio olive varieties with a very well balanced bitterness and spiciness.

Aroma:

on the nose it shows a lively fruitiness of green, herbaceous olives, in which elegant notes of apple, artichoke and green tomato blend together in great harmony.

Taste:

on the palate it is fine and complex with important tones of thistle, artichoke and almond. The intriguing and persistent notes of grass give a remarkable balance to the bitter and spicy tones.
