The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Altanum IGP by Olearia San Giorgio is an extra virgin olive oil certified by the Consortium for the protection and enhancement of extra virgin olive oil “Calabria Oil” Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). It is an excellent blend of medium-light fruity, green color with golden reflections. It takes its name from the ancient one of San Giorgio Morgeto, the municipality where Olearia San Giorgio, which produces it, is located.
Aroma:
to the nose it has a marked note of wild herbs, tomato leaves and white apple
Taste:
the taste is harmonious and complex, reveals a hint of bitterness and a more pronounced spiciness. The other aromatic notes are of citrus and exotic fruits.
Uses:
excellent on raw and blanched stockfish to be offered in salads and on roast and stewed swordfish. It also optimally enhances the taste of pizzas and shellfish.
