The Extra Virgin Olive Oil monocultivar Semidana Accademia Olearia is a monovarietal olive oil produced exclusively with olives of the Bosana variety, widespread in the central area of Sardinia. The Semidana olive is excellent for the production of a fruity, slightly bitter and spicy oil. Semidana olive trees are very vigorous and resist oil fly well. They have evenly distributed foliage and pointed, lanceolate leaves. The semidana olives are medium-small, weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 grams. They are ovoid in shape and as they mature they become amaranth in color with very evident white spots.
